Our thoughts

Brautigam & Brautigam, LLP was formed on February 2, 1986 by Daryl P. Brautigam and Sharon E. Brautigam. Its offices have always been in Fredonia, New York. In 1988, the firm purchased a Victorian house located on a charming side street adjacent to the downtown Fredonia business district and refurbished it into a fully functioning law office.

Together with the partners, the firm consists of three full-time employees and one part-time employee. The firm offers a general range of services, including providing legal services to plaintiffs and defendants in connection with serious personal injury matters; a substantial criminal defense practice representing defendants in a broad range of felony, misdemeanor, and traffic charges; representing purchasers and sellers in a wide variety of residential and commercial real estate matters; assisting clients and their families, executors, and administrators in estate planning, estate administration, and elder law matters; small business formation and organization; and complex zoning, land use and tax assessment matters.

Thoughts behind the Brand Identity:

  • - We wanted to instill trust, loyalty and accessibility by using local photography and a crimson color palate.
  • - The colors were also chosen to reflect Cornell Law School, where both partners attended.
  • - Photos were taken of the surrounding community to be incorporated into the website.
  • - A web presence was a must in order to stay competitive. The goal was to attract new clients as well informing others of their long-term success.
